Where Parisian restraint meets New York nerve.

Est. New York

We listen. We fall in love with the idea. We bring it to life — from first conversation to final reveal.

What matters to you is what makes the difference. We design the space, curate what goes inside it, orchestrate the details and coordination behind it, and bring it all together for opening day.

Fluent in the craft of clarity and the art of shaping atmosphere, we create spaces that spark emotion and stay with people.

What People Are Saying

Ronan Duchêne Le May & Alexia Duchêne

Owners of Le Chêne — The Village, NYC

“Frédérique’s energy, strategic insight, and intuitive understanding made a lasting impression.”

“Frédérique’s energy, strategic insight, and intuitive understanding of both the aesthetic and operational demands of our project made a lasting impression. She quickly grasped our vision and translated it into a cohesive, ambitious concept delivered under considerable time pressure. Her ability to coordinate efficiently between clients, architects, consultants, and contractors was exceptional. Her clarity, responsiveness, and ability to keep the team aligned helped us meet deadlines without compromising on design integrity or safety standards. She contributed meaningfully to key decisions regarding architecture and administration, anticipating potential risks and proposing agile strategies that kept our construction on track and within budget. This level of coordination and aesthetic coherence would not have been possible without her oversight and generosity of time and expertise. We would wholeheartedly recommend Frédérique Mortier d’Aumont and Fred Interiors for any hospitality-driven design or consulting project. She brings a rare mix of creativity, discipline, and interpersonal finesse.”

“FRED interiors has a contagious enthusiasm and the capacity to inspire all those whom she works with.”

“Frédérique worked with Arte Charpentier Architects as an interior designer, and I had the opportunity and pleasure to collaborate with her as a true project partner on numerous design projects and presentations. I do not exaggerate in describing her as an exceptional designer and Project Leader, with experience spanning competitions, conception, detailed design, and procurement phases. She is creative, committed, and confident when engaging with clients. An astute professional, she quickly grasps the core issues of each project and consistently proposes pertinent, thoughtful solutions. Her ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a synthetic, global view of the work has made her an invaluable partner within our team. She brings contagious enthusiasm and the rare capacity to inspire everyone she works alongside.”

“FRED Interiors brought positivity and enthusiasm to every site visit.”

“FRED Interiors is more than a designer team — Frédérique is an expert organizer, visionary, and designer who walks you through every step of the process from start to finish. We hired her to design our Upper West Side jewelry store. She not only was able to capture perfectly the aesthetic we wanted, but she was also able to infuse the beat and the feel of our company into the decor. She continued to surprise me with ideas that at first I wasn’t sure about, but that were absolutely perfect once I saw them completed. She expertly managed the job and was able to facilitate communication and problem-solving among the contractor, client and construction workers, bringing positivity and enthusiasm to every site visit. Most importantly, she listened to me, her client. The few times when we disagreed, she respected my opinion and took my ideas, always improving them in the process. The result is that the space feels like exactly what I wanted, just better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Frédérique Mortier d’Aumont as a designer and architect.”

“Fred became an indispensable and enthusiastic asset for my highly complex real estate projects.”

“I hired Fred two times, once for the renovation of my 1400 square foot Haussmannien apartment and a 3600 square foot studio in the same building in recent years — two very distinct projects with different scale and high responsibility and complexity, since the building belonged to a single family in need of strong emotional support in every decision-making, and an iconic building with strict rules. Fred is highly creative, demonstrating unwavering commitment and a strong sense of trust in her interactions with clients and whoever is an actor of the project. Her strong analytical skills allow her and her team to quickly identify the main challenges of each project, which allows her to propose thoughtful and effective solutions during minute meetings. With her exceptional organizational and prioritization skills coupled with a holistic perspective on project goals and details, she has become an indispensable and enthusiastic asset for my highly complex real estate projects, consistently fostering success and positive relationships between stakeholders. I will definitely reach out to her for my future projects! I trust she will achieve great success in NYC spreading the French Touch, or in a company that truly empowers her to reach her full potential.”
